Konzept :

Inhalt und primäres Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es die einzelnen, schon jetzt bestehenden Vernetzungen und Links zwischen den jeweiligen Veranstaltungen, Clubbings und Konzerten des p.p.c.  in der Neubaugasse, und dem Grazer Stadtradio Soundportal auf einen Ort zu konzentrieren, und durch frei einmietbare Proberaumflächen und zusätzlichen Produktionsmöglichkeiten mit professioneller Unterstützung (Aufnahme- studio) zu ergänzen.

Es entsteht somit ein Zentrum für Musik- schaffende, das - wie es der Titel dieser Arbeit schon versucht vorweg zu nehmen - in manchen Momenten »[...] mehr« ist, »als die Summe der einzelnen Teile«. Des Wei- teren wird auch die städtebauliche Situation des gewählten Ortes im innerstädtischen Kontext und die Zeitgemäßheit ihrer Lage geprüft; Veränderungs- und Verbesserungs- potentiale werden aufgezeigt.

Concept :

The content and primary goal of this work is to concentrate the individual, already existing networks and links between the respective events, clubbings and concerts of the p.p.c. in Neubaugasse and the Graz city radio station Soundportal in one place, and to supplement them with freely rentable rehearsal space and additional production possibilities with professional support (recording studio).

The result is a centre for music creators, which - as the title of this work tries to anticipate - is at times "[...] more than the sum of its parts". Furthermore, the urban planning situation of the chosen site in the inner-city context and the contemporary nature of its location will be examined; potential for change and improvement will be identified.
